This foot march from Rajghat, Varanasi to Rajghat, Delhi was organized by the Sarva Seva Sangh from 2 October to 26 November 2025. Sarva Seva Sangh, established in April 1948 under the guidance of Acharya Vinoba Bhave after the martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi, has been dedicated to building a social order free from exploitation and injustice, based on truth and non-violence, and to promoting Gandhian principles.
To revive the ideals of Gandhiji and Vinoba Ji and to strengthen social harmony, hundreds of people from various states of the country participated in this foot march.
The yatra concluded on 25 November at the Manav Mandir Mission, New Delhi, in the divine presence of Pujya Acharya Shri Roopchandra Ji Maharaj. At the Mission, Shri Arun Yogi Ji, along with the organization’s volunteers and trustees, extended a heartfelt and grand welcome to all the participants. The event was coordinated by renowned philosopher Dr. Arun Prakash Ji.
The occasion was graced by Sadhvi Kankalata Ji Maharaj, Sadhvi Samata Shri Ji Maharaj, the institution’s trustee Shri Subhash Chandra Tiwari Ji, Khudai Khidmatgar chief Faisal Khan Ji, Vedant Dubey Ji, Naman Jain Ji, Chandan Ji, and the entire staff of the Manav Mandir Mission.
During the program, Divya, a student of Manav Mandir Gurukul, presented soulful devotional songs, leaving all listeners deeply moved. Arrangements for meals were also made for all the participants.
On this occasion, Pujya Gurudev Acharyashri Roopchandra Ji Maharaj shared his inspiring memories of the time he spent with Vinoba Ji.
On 26 November, all the participants will reach Rajghat, New Delhi, where the final phase of this historic foot march will conclude.
